Characteristics
In California, they’re known as “daddy longlegs” spiders. The web of a cellar spider is usually very messy, similar to the web of a cobweb spider. Like all spiders, cellar spiders have eight legs,
two body parts, and fang-like mouthparts. The body length of adult cellar spider is about 1/4 inch or less.
Treatment
Sweeping away accumulated webbing and lowering relative humidity are two ways to control cellar spiders.
